How Did the Rich Become Wealthy in the First Place?
You often hear stories of people who became wealthy by signing a contract, after 40 years of investing finally earning $5 million, selling their business, or even inventing something new.
The last one is particularly interesting, not to say the others aren’t, but there’s something intriguing about being an inventor.
You often hear about great inventors such as Elon Musk… And we think, “Oh, I’m never going to be like him; he was a genius.” Maybe he was, but would he be a genius if he thought like others?
There is this exceptional quote I find intriguing about Mr Elon:
The average person might see space exploration as a waste of time and effort and rib him from talking about the subject, but Musk thought about interplanetary travel in a very earnest way.
Imagine it’s the 1990s, and you hear a person thinking about intergalactic travel. What would your reaction be like?
And somehow, he managed to build rockets, send them to space, produce electric cars, solar panels, and more…
He wasn’t thinking like an average person. He was extraordinary.
An average person might give up, thinking it’s not worth the effort.
That’s the main difference between average and exceptional individuals.
To become wealthy and successful, you need to believe in your work and not let others tell you that your ideas and plans are lousy! The next time they tell you that you are nothing, confidently stand your ground and believe in yourself. Just like Musk and others before him…
